Phase 1 SouthBeach Dinner Recipe

 

Savoury Chicken Sauté
(Serves 4)

SouthBeach Recipe Food Ingredients:

2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts halves
1 large onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary leaves, chopped
100ml fat-free chicken stock
Pinch salt
Pinch freshly ground black pepper

 

SouthBeach Recipe Cooking Method:

Heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.  Sauté the chicken breasts in the oil for 4 minutes, then turn them over and add the onion.  Cover and cook 3 minutes longer, stirring occasionally.  Add the garlic, rosemary and stock.  Cover and cook until the onion starts to brown and about 5 minutes longer, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper.
