SOUTH BEACH DIET PHASE THREE

South Beach Diet Phase 3 : Weight Loss Maintenance Phase

South Beach Diet Phase Three is really all about ideal weight maintenance, which Dr Agatston describes as a "way of life".  It is meant to help you maintain the benefits of weight loss you have earned by following South Beach Diet Phase One and Phase Two.  South Beach Diet Phase 3 show you how to eat and enjoy delicious healthy food for the rest of your life.

South Beach Diet Phase Three is the most liberal phase of the south beach diet plan - by now it is simply one important aspect of the healthy South Beach Diet lifestyle rather than a weight loss program.

There will be times when you over indulge a little, even after years on the South Beach Diet during which you'll switch back to south beach diet phase one for a week or two.  You'll get back to your ideal weight, and then you'll return to Phase Three.

Breakfast
1/2 fresh grapefruit
Tex-Mex eggs (2 scrambled eggs with grated Cheddar cheese and salsa)
1 slice granary bread, toasted
Decaffeinated coffee or decaffeinated tea with skimmed milk and sugar substitute

 

Lunch
Roast Beef Wrap

Fresh nectarine

 

Dinner
Grilled salmon with tomato salsa
Grilled asparagus
Tossed Salad (mixed leaves, cucumber, green peppers, cherry tomatoes)
Olive oil and vinegar to taste

 

Dessert
Chocolate-dipped Apricot
